Today's card is one that is pretty anti-winter, very colourful and happy looking. It is as always coloured with copics and topped with glamour dust, the papers are doodle bug. I have done a bit of faux stitching also, but I'm not sure about it. It's the first time I've done it and I'm not sure it's right! Well it's done now so there's not much else I can do.
I've finished making Christmas cards now, although I say I'm going to keep going and not really stop so there's not a mad last minute rush next year but we'll see how that goes! Anyway folks, I hope you are all well and ready for Christmas!
Take care and thanks for looking! Lyns xx

It is my friends mum's birthday at the end of December so this is what I've come up with for her. I know normally getting a birthday card from a shop at this time of year is very difficult so hopefully this card is special for her. Papers are doodlebug, stamp is penny black, coloured with copics, as is the ribbon, letters are doodlebug.
On another note it is my Christmas party tomorrow, which should hopefully been good fun! I don't know about you guys but I feel like I could do with having a really good laugh! Well take care, enjoy your weekends whatever you have planned. Lyns xx

I thought I'd share this picture with you all that I took on the demon road that is the A9 in Scotland. I was on a trip to Inverness to visit my Grandparents and thought this was just such a pretty sight I had to share it. Unfortunately the view on the way home wasn't quite as nice, the cloud was sitting very low down on the hills, it was completely dreich and dreary.
We had a lovely time up North, I always enjoy visiting my grandparents. They are such kind people and great fun to spend time with.
Now that I'm back home, I'll get cracking on with the card making. Especially as my Granny gave me some lovely new craft goodies - can't wait to play!
Well bye for now, hope everyone is well and getting excited for Christmas! Take Care, Lyns xx

I've been a little quiet this weekend, unfortunately not because I was supposed to be a busy bee! Yesterday I went to see the Scotland -v- Argentina game, despite the score I was enjoying the game although was begining to feel something wasn't quite right. Whilst leaving the stadium to walk back into town I was hit by a pretty big migraine. I must have looked some state walking through town in all my supporters memorablia crying. People probably thought I was upset at the result! I wound up having to get a taxi straight home, I was very lucky though OH took good care of me. I'm only getting back to feeling ok now, as I woke up during the night with another migraine. It is such a tiring thing to endure, I'm hopefully back to normal now though.
These are the cards I made this evening, my lovely new stamp arrived with my even lovelier copics on Friday! :o) I was playing with this tonight. The images are coloured with yummy yummy copics and topped with a little glamour dust, papers are doodle bug, blue ribbon coloured with copics to match, pink ribbon and gems from my stash.
Thanks for looking and reading my moans! Hope you all enjoy the rest of your evening. Thanks for looking, Lyns xx

Thank goodness it's Friday! What has everyone planned for the weekend? Mine is going to be on the busy side but should be fun. Off for a couple of drinks with my OH's friends tonight, tomorrow I'm at the Scotland -v- Argentina rugby game. Will Scotland win again? I'm not hoping for too much, but it would be an incredible end to the Autumn tests. I'm sure a few drinks will be had there too and if I ever get any time I'll be doing some more crafting!
Here are some of the cards I've made recently, yes MORE Wags 'n' Whiskers cards! I love the image so much, I think everyone might get a card like this! Another cute image is my popcorn stamp, he's so cute! All my images are coloured with copics, papers are doodlebug and some from my local craft shop, so I've no idea... oops! Glitter is glamourdust.
Speaking of Copics, I've ordered up another set of 36 which I'd really like to arrive today - they wont now I've said that. I've also ordered a new stamp which is a little mouse on top of a cupcake, hopefully it'll be another cutie to colour!
Well I hope everyone enjoys their Friday and has a good weekend, take care, Lyns xx

Hope everyone is fine on this rainy day (well it's raining here). I couldn't sleep very well and woke up early this morning, so I took the opportunity to get some crafting done and play with my new stamps. I absolutely love this image, the image reminds me of a photo of myself playing in my gran's garden in thick thick snow, when I was very young. I went for another easel style card, coloured the image with copics and topped with some glamour dust then mounted on to some of my yummy papers and added the little snow flake charm to the ribbon. I might add a little sentiment to the bottom part but I'm not sure... anyway, thanks for looking xxx

So whilst I wait, I thought I'd have a blether about my weekend. Turned out Scotland WON the rugby, I am still in shock. Everyone was standing around me cheering when the Aussie Fly-half missed a conversion. I don't think I could quite believe it, I was thinking why are they cheering - we didn't win! lol It was also my little brother's first match, who we now believe is a lucky charm and will be coming with us all the time now. Course he now has high expectations of the team... oh dear! :o)
In light of such a hectic weekend, I got no cardmaking done - BAD CRAFTER! Tonight will be a hard crafting night, I have some more Christmas cards to make (please may that stamp come today to help) and I have a commissioned 60th birthday card to make. I'll post some piccies when I'm done.
Hope everyone has a great week! That's my printers working again :o)

Well the reason I called my post 'hates waiting' is: I am waiting on a new stamp to arrive, it was shipped yesterday and being ever the optimist I thought it might come today... It didn't :o( saddens my wee self. I'm sure I can live until it gets here but don't you hate when you are really excited for something coming and it doesn't come when you hope it will?! I'll have to make do with the stamps I have until it arrives.
So for the weekend?! What is everyone up to? I'm off to see Scotland get a roasting (or should that be a soaking?) at the rugby tomorrow... the weather forecast is terrible, so on one hand I'm looking forward to it, on the other - I really don't want to get wet! Well we are Scotland afterall, rain is to be expected. I hope it is a good game anyway, at least the Aussies aren't used to this level of wet and wind. A Scottish advantage?! Not likely! I should mention now, I'm ever the optomist except when it comes to Scotland and Sport! lol
Well I'm signing off now, going to do a bit of blog hopping. I hope you all have a good weekend whatever is planned. I pray the weather is better wherever you are!

I ordered some yummy papers from glitter pot by Bo Bunny which came yesterday, as soon as I opened the envelope I just wanted to 'play'. This card is what I came up with:
The stamp was free with Cardmaking & Papercraft mag. The snowflakes I bought in a little pack from the works for a pound! Bargain! Hope you like and thanks for looking. xx
