MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Just a very quick post today to wish you all a wonderful Christmas. I hope you are all with friends and family enjoying yourselves. As I sit with a glass of wine, I wish you all very well!

Suddenly Monday Apears Again...

... where was the weekend, I've lost it again?! It is however my last day at work today before breaking up for Christmas - yippee! Although, it looks like the snow is all melting here now :o( oh well!

Today's card is one that is pretty anti-winter, very colourful and happy looking. It is as always coloured with copics and topped with glamour dust, the papers are doodle bug. I have done a bit of faux stitching also, but I'm not sure about it. It's the first time I've done it and I'm not sure it's right! Well it's done now so there's not much else I can do.

I've finished making Christmas cards now, although I say I'm going to keep going and not really stop so there's not a mad last minute rush next year but we'll see how that goes! Anyway folks, I hope you are all well and ready for Christmas!

Take care and thanks for looking! Lyns xx

Birthday Cards

Morning All,

I hope you are all having a nice weekend, I survived my Christmas party - JUST! Was a little bit worse for wear yesterday, but it meant I stayed in last night and made a couple of cards. I love these doodle bug papers and as always images coloured with copics! I will make some more cards today if I get the chance, got my little brother staying today and we're hoping there'll be some more snow, little flutters at the moment but not too much - here's hoping. Anyway, thanks for looking! Lyns xx

Cow Love Birthday

I ordered up some new craft things from the glitter pot, a new organiser (extremely useful - can find things now), papers, some decent black ink memento tuxedo black and a stamp from Penny Black. I couldn't resist it just looked so fun!

It is my friends mum's birthday at the end of December so this is what I've come up with for her. I know normally getting a birthday card from a shop at this time of year is very difficult so hopefully this card is special for her. Papers are doodlebug, stamp is penny black, coloured with copics, as is the ribbon, letters are doodlebug.

On another note it is my Christmas party tomorrow, which should hopefully been good fun! I don't know about you guys but I feel like I could do with having a really good laugh! Well take care, enjoy your weekends whatever you have planned. Lyns xx

Oh Christmas Tree...

After seeing Coops' Christmas tree, I thought I'd share a picture of mine. It looks like it's in the same spot as mine! lol Check out her fabby blog here coops. I've made all my Christmas cards now and I think OH is even done pinching them, so hopefully will get some more made that I could maybe sell and some normal cards for the years birthdays ahead! Anyway, thanks for dropping by - 11 sleeps to go btw! Lyns xx

Just about there...

As the title suggests, I am just about there... with my Christmas cards. I've made and posted nearly them all, apart from waiting on a couple of addresses from OH. I made a few extra cards last night, thinking to myself 'I could take these into work to sell' when OH announces 'I need more cards' so off they went. Thankfully I LOVE making Christmas cards so I'm quite happy to sit and make some more to hopefully sell. This is one of the cards that was swiped last minute. The bear stamp was free with Cardmaking and Papercraft Magazine, coloured with Copics, papers are Bo Bunny and everything topped with Glamour Dust as always - I'm predictable at least. Well hoping you all like this card and wishing you all a great weekend. Take Care, Lyns xx

A Challenge Card

This week over on docrafts I was host to the Forever Friends Challenge, this is my own attempt. The challenge was to use a forever friends image of any sort, a stripey backing paper, buttons and ribbon. The entries by others have been fantastic, I have a little prize for the winner which will be picked on Saturday night. It's not too late if you'd like to enter - take a peek over at the docrafts forum under Challenges. Thanks for Looking! Hope everyone has a fabby weekend! Lyns xx

Some more...

You will be getting bored of seeing this stamp! I love playing with it. I'm almost done with our personal Christmas cards, I have about 10 more to make so hopefully will get them done over the next couple of nights... so I'm sure there'll be a couple more of this stamp! he he... All the images are coloured with copics, topped with glamour dust. The blue coloured papers are bo bunny and I can't remember the other one. I've also used some card candy. Thanks for looking! I'm off for some blog hopping now. Take care, Lyns xx

I'm back...

Hello Everyone,

I thought I'd share this picture with you all that I took on the demon road that is the A9 in Scotland. I was on a trip to Inverness to visit my Grandparents and thought this was just such a pretty sight I had to share it. Unfortunately the view on the way home wasn't quite as nice, the cloud was sitting very low down on the hills, it was completely dreich and dreary.

We had a lovely time up North, I always enjoy visiting my grandparents. They are such kind people and great fun to spend time with.

Now that I'm back home, I'll get cracking on with the card making. Especially as my Granny gave me some lovely new craft goodies - can't wait to play!

Well bye for now, hope everyone is well and getting excited for Christmas! Take Care, Lyns xx

Just a Quickie!

Just a quick post, here is a card I made for a friend. I asked him what his favourite colours were - red and blue. He seemed to like it but it's always hard to tell with men I find! The image is a Clare Curd Stamp, papers are doodlebug and as always coloured with Copics. A very kind friend from do crafts has sent me some stamped images which I can't wait to get playing with, but as usual so much to do and so little time! Hope everyone is well, take care and thanks for looking, Lyns xx
