Finally a Card!

Evening Bloggers,

It's about time I did a card, my mojo has been a bit wonky and I`ve been scary busy at the moment. I decided to just make up the card on the back of the decoupage set and see how that went. Hope you guys like! Off for a blog hop now! TFL Lyns xx

Almost a Week and No Post???

Hello Bloggers,

Sorry I've been quiet at the moment, I might have been quiet in blogland but in the real world I've been very busy. One of my best friends is getting married in July and I'm chief bridesmaid. Over the weekend we were dress hunting and having a look at the venue.... it is GORGEOUS! I actually think to begin with I was more excited than her. Amidst all the excitement no cardmaking was done. However, I have offered my cardmaking services to make her invitations as part of my gift to her. I told her though, don't worry if you think they are rubbish and want to use someone else I wont be upset. For now I have my thinking cap on, although I do have a few ideas. Hopefully I'll have something to show you soon!

Thanks for reading folk, hope you are all well!

21st Birthday Card

Evening Bloggers,

Tonight's upload is a card I've made for one of the girls in my work who turns 21 next week. I was asked by the powers at be in my work to make the card, so I'm hoping that they will be pleased with this. I always find commissioned cards are harder to do, I don't know why! Digi-image has been coloured with copics and topped with LOADS of glamour dust. Hope she likes it! Thanks for looking folks, Lyns xx

Halfway There!

Morning Folks,

I'm quite glad it's the middle of the week, although I'd be happier if it was the weekend. I've had lots and lots to do at work at the moment, which is always good but hate when I'm starting to get in a tizz!

Anyway, on to the cards.... I have made two cards, one using my goody bag and one using a digi image I downloaded from Pink Cat Studio. I have gone a bit mad with the glamour dust on that one. I think I'd quite like pink sparkly hair... that's my inner 5 year old talking! The second card is a FF stamp and some of my goody bag. The glitter looks a bit blue because I took the photo before the glue dried properly! oops! Thanks for looking folks and I hope you have a good day! Lyns xx

I ♥ Mew

Evening Everyone,

Monday again... the weekend just goes by too quickly! Tonight I only have the one card, normally I'd have made more but I'm on a bit of a fitness kick at the moment. I ordinarily swim quite a bit but I've upped how often I go and for longer to try and shift some weight. I lost 2lbs last week, lets hope I stay on track. Whilst I made this card I also used my toning belt which was interesting... first time in a long time I've used it and my tummy now feels a bit traumatised!

On to the card, the stamp is a didi download from pink cat studios which have some really fab stuff. I've downloaded a couple of stamps from them so I'll hopefully make a couple more cards from these soon. My stamp is coloured with copics as always, paper is a free download from the docrafts site and the buttons and ribbon are papermania capsule collection. TFL folks, hope you're all well. Lyns xx

Valentine's Cards

Evening Everyone,

Well I had my Dad visiting yesterday which was nice, but meant I was very busy... although I did manage to stop by my local craft shop for a few bits and bobs. Today was my first chance to make anything.

I've made several cards, but only uploaded my favourites. Some I'm just not happy with and I think my mojo is in neutral at the moment.

Hope you all enjoy the what little is left of the weekend! Take Care and thanks for looking, Lyns xx

Friday Feeling! :o)

Good Morning Everyone!

I hope you are all well today. I'm happy it's Friday so it's almost the weekend and I'm especially chuffed as I sold 4 of my cards yesterday. Not that I am making any profit but it's nice to know that other people like my cards and are willing to pay for them... I end up just buying my supplies to make more cards! lol

Today's cards are a birthday card for my OH's Granpa which is a Clare Curd Stamp coloured with copics, mounted on doodlebug paper and the embossing done on my bug. The second card is another FF Decoupage Valentine, I just love these sheets at the moment. I added some Anita's 3D gloss around the edge of the heart and sprinkled with glamour dust to give it extra sparkle!

I'm looking forward to tomorrow, OH is taking me back to the craft shop - yippee! I'm going to hopefully get some more capsule bits and bobs and FF papers. Then my Dad and his fiancée will be visiting in the evening for tea which will be nice.

Well TFL everyone and hope you all have a great weekend! Lyns xx

I've been busy...

Hi Everyone,

I've been a busy bee tonight, the baby card came to me doing lengths in the pool - very random. The papers on the stamped cards are doodlebug and on the baby card are papermania and FF papers. All ribbons and other embellishments are also papermania. I hope you guys like and are having a good evening. TFL, Lyns xx

At it again...

Evening Everyone,

Yep I've been at it again, making easel cards! I just think they are a bit more unique than a regular card. I'm going to take a couple of my cards into my work to sell, we'll see how I get on! My hopes aren't high but hopefully a few people might be interested. TFL folks take care and good night! Lyns xx

My Mojo Monday Card and Easel Valentine

Evening Everyone,

This is my card using the Mojo Monday template. The image is coloured with copics, the papers are doodlebug and I did the embossing on my bug. The second card is yet another easel style card, I'm completely hooked on these at the moment - I'm not sure why! I love the FF bears, these are so sweet but I didn't think they would work with pink and red so I went with a bit of a non-traditional blue. I think it works anyway. The papers, buttons and jewels are all the papermania capsule collection, ribbon from my stash! TFL, hope your week is a good one! Lyns xx

Some more cards...

You can tell I've been busy today, the brain is in gear so I'm taking full advantage! We have a FF decoupage card used making the pink parfait paper pad. The second is made entirely from the goody bag... if you'd like to copy this using your own goody bag, please feel free! My tummy is rumbling now so I'm going to take a break and make my tea. TFL hope you all enjoy what little is left of the weekend! Lyns xx

Sunday Love!

Morning Everyone,

You may have noticed from my post yesterday that I topped up my stash (like it needs topped up - ha ha!) and I picked up a set of the new Forever Friends decoupage. I can safely say it is GORGEOUS! I love it, the card below is what I came up with and I think I'm going to be making a few of these. They are adorable. Everything on the card is from the set apart from the embellishments and ribbon. The buttons etc. are papermania and the ribbon is from my stash. Thanks for looking, I hope you all like! Take care, Lyns xx

An Easel Birthday Card

Happy Weekend Everyone,

I started my weekend getting up bright and breezy and braving the snow to get along to my local craft shop as I'd seen on Nikki's blog that she'd put out lots of yummy new stock... wee hee! Spent a wee bitty more than I intended, but OH says I always use the things I buy so it's worth it :o)

Here's a wee piccy of my goodies!

After braving the cold today I went for my usual swim and unfortunately the water in the pool was FREEZING! Apparently because of the cold weather they are struggling to keep the pool at it's optimum temperature. Well it definitely took my breath away but I think I swam faster in the long run so it probably benefited me! I just don't fancy swimming in that temperature everyday. Once I got home to a cosy house I got down to some card making and came up with this for my friend at work, the papers are doodlebug, ribbon, buttons and jewels from papermania capsule collection in the goody bag and I embossed the stars on my bug. Hope you like!

I'm off to see Avatar in 3D tonight - hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekends! Thanks for looking, Lyns xx

Another Thank You Card

Oh dear - I've just come over with a viscious attack of the hiccups! Ouch! Just thought I'd share that. How is everyone today? Well I hope in this very cold weather. I think Scottish Gas etc. will be rubbing their paws together at the big heating bills everyone is likely to be facing. I'm thankful my little flat is brilliantly insulated so I don't need to have my heating on a lot.

Anyway, I digress. I have made another Thank You card, the stamps are the ones that came free with cardmaking and papercraft, coloured with copics and the papers are papermania ones that I can't remember the name of. Speaking of papers, have you all seen the lovely capsule collection that has just been released? It is safe to say that I NEED them all! I also really like the Forever Friends papers. There is a docrafts event on nearby this weekend so I think I could be parting with a bit of money - woops!

Well thanks for looking folks! Take Care, Lyns xx

Oops! Another card!

One day, two posts! I've been busy! I've made a birthday card for my lovely friend Claire using Kerryjo stamps and Papermania papers. I think it's a bit more of a grown ups card. Hopefully she likes it. TFL xx

Thank You Cards

Hello Bloggers!

I finally got around to making some cards, I was struggling for a bit of inspiration. I think I just couldn't decide between all the fab crafty things that Santa brought me. I came up with these for thank you cards, I need to get a few more made. The papers are from the docrafts magazine CD and the images are free stamps with cardmaking and papercraft. I'm off for a bit of a blog hop now, thanks for looking! xx

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone! I thought I'd share a couple of pictures from last night. Myself, OH, a friend from work and his brother and girl friend all went to the Dome in Edinburgh, which as you can see has a fantastic Christmas Tree, the building smells like Christmas and is completely stunning, I wish I'd taken some more pictures.

I wish you all happiness, wealth and love for the year ahead. Happy Crafting! xx
